Does a flocked brush get snail trails off quicker? Y/N.
« on: October 09, 2013, 08:59:30 pm »
Hello all, as above. Im currently using mono heads and on a certain site that i have, but its got a BAD snail problem in the warmer months (normally use g101). But i was wonderin if flagged/flocked might take it off faster? B4 i buy them. I posted this Q a few weeks ago and had a couple of guys on here sayin dont worry u cant see it after the glass drys. But u know your own work, and i can see it big time as soon as i approach bottom windows, all open glass no nets. So i cleaned it as norm just to test, BUT DID see the marks after drying (bits ive missed). Any way a simple Yes/No would do. Thanks m

Yes, I find they are a bit quicker but don't particularly like using them except on leaded
Thanks,

If you brush over the snail trails lightly letting the ends of the bristles do the work you will find the snail trails disappear faster and easier than pressing hard and scrubbing.

And new brush head will also aid this as the tips of the bristle are "sharper" than a well used brush

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

I don't know about the flock brush, but if the windows plastered in snail stuff, I do that window trad, it's quicker and saves wasting all your pure water.

Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

I normally turn the water off and scrub for a bit then rinse.
