Thermopure Frost Protection
« on: November 13, 2013, 05:59:04 pm »
Hi,

We have purchased a used van which has a Thermpure system already installed in it. Was concerned that the system dosn't have built in frost protection, unlike our Pure Freedom van which turns the diesel heater on at 2 degrees to keep things warm.

I know you can recirculate the hot water back to the tank but this seems an expensive option if it runs through the night burning a litre of diesel an hour.

What do other Thermopure users do?

I've always used an oil filled radiator. No thrmopure system, but keeps frost of everything else.

Is this urban slang for - Lights - Pot Plants - grow weed in the back of your van and keep it warm at night?
