Can we have a pressure washing forum?
« on: March 07, 2006, 01:23:57 pm »
I think we should have a pressure washing forum instead of being stuck in the 'general cleaning issues' section. This would save people having to trawl through topics looking for pressure washing related issues. Does anyone agree?

Obviously up to the moderators.....however, do you stop there.....or do the differing Domestic and Commercial sectors of the cleaning industry have their own sections too   :P

Personally, i would think it is a good idea - but if you did have your own "department" as it were, would you get the feedback and general ideas/advice from the rest of us??

Regards

Hi Tim, hopefully people with other interests, experience and knowledge would still use it. Perhaps there are other topics that would benefit from having their own section also. Pressure washing is my main business that is why I notice that on this site I have to trawl through general cleaning issues to find topics. I also read other sections to find related subjects.

Some sites have a button you can select to see all new posts regardless of board. I like these as you can quickly scan through and pick out what you want to look at. I find it a pain to look at all the boards for subjects that may be of intrest.

This is the problem, General cleaning gets so many posts that many good posts are lost if you dont log on for a day or two

Just an idea for a compromise,

there are lots of different sections to cleaning but if you seperate them we will loose input from people with other experiences, i do understand that sometimes subjects can get lost in the many others but this is as a result of this sites success,

A solution might be with a small column which indicates from what origin the post came from ie a blue letter P for power washing, red letter C for carpets etc. ;)
