What's the black lines in the grout in the lower right of the picture? What did you seal it with?

Nice job and glad you got some satisfaction out of it!  I can't wait to see pictures of your first Marble Restoration Job!  A few points and tips on this one though!
Not sure about the grout matching but it will get lighter when dry.
Did you do the grout repairs before or after you cleaned?
Was the grout flexible or non flexible?
I would have repaired the grout after cleaning but prior to final rinse before sealing.
I would have then used a Premium Enhancing Penetrating Sealer which would have made the colours bounce and darkened all the grout evenly at the same time!

Cheers kev

did the cement grout after the clean and rinse but before the seal, it was only 5 smallish holes so i just masked off the stone with masking tape and mixed a bit of cement and filled them in, smoothed them off and then we sealed the whole floor, job done.

best compliment i got was that the floor had been cleaned 2 or 3 times before by some guy but he had retired so they were looking for a new guy to do there next clean, the original guy had been cleaning stone floors for years, after they saw my clean they were gobsmacked at how well it had come up, commenting, "the last guy never got it looking that nice" and that was my first attemp. well happy.

yeah roll on my first marble floor, looking forward to it.
