RO problem sorted How !!!!
« on: September 25, 2013, 06:14:04 pm »
Hi Guys & girls do you remember my post needing help regarding my ro as it came out fast for about an hour then would go really slow. The problem being as I've got a booster pumper with electronic cut off, I put the thing what stops the water flow not the part that hangs in the static tank and when it touches  the water the water stops. It's the bit what you have a tube that goes in then the other tube that goes out, I had this connected to the last tube that goes into the static tank of pure water when the tank filled in the end and turned the water flow off there's was a noise of water hissing in the ro so decided to move that water flow shut off thingy to the tube comming out the booster pump that enters the ro and presto the flow is staying fast and there's no hissing in the ro when the tank is filled and water cut off. I copied the geezer off you tube when I fitted the pump he is sooo wrong. Just thought I would share this incase anyone else has or gets same problem.

He is talking about a [ Auto shut off solenoid valve kit ] its a great piece of kit for
worry free tank filling.
The thing in the tank is a sensor that tells the solenoid that the tank is full which then cuts the water
off from the R.O.

Nice one John your spot on I didn't know what it was called but yes it's brilliant and working great. The pump I got with the system 9 years ago from Omnipole 😃I've changed the ro to Colin's water ro which is great but fitted the Omnipole pump kit to it
