Hi Andy I've got the fog wash had it for 3 or 4 years now but only get it out in winter times good portable shower, not sure what the L5 is like but you can get off eBay for about £175 I think a few in here use

Hiya Jim it's the portable shower I got it from Peter Fogwell so we all name it the fog wash lol !!! Does he still exist I know he was quite ignorant and didn't answer emails or his phone !!!! Not like Alex Gardiner he's after service is A+ and hes always here to help out !!!

1+ i think it will be best one to get. You will not get a fog wash.
Another to look at is the one below  on e bay I have the smalller model.But if I bought I would buy this one due to it not been made in China. how do you vent / use an L5 in a van?

They all have a 29 min cut out which is not a cut out but a hot safety setting. And you will be taking a risk by bypassing it.
aid Cawoods has di-passed this some how. I have heard of chaps doing this and the battery case melting and also bursting pipes ect. Ask me. be careful. the cut out is not a real problem when it cools down it will ( should reignite again) some  do some dont. My Chines e bay model did not. Hope this helps you make a  wise decision.

i got my heater from america because i wanted a heater that i could fit a flue to and also because is done not have a 20 min timer.

i have had no issues with it and it get used all day everyday, nothing has melted and no pipes have burst.

What connectors do you use? I use plastic hoselock at the moment but suspect they won't be good enough using hot... And did you have to upgrade hoses and pole hose?

Also... What size propane bottle do you use?

No. Not anymore.
At the top of the page is the adverts banner-Corwoods were advertising it with 'no 20 minute cut off'-that's why I bought it.
There is a grille on the top instead of an external flue. I work with one door open.
Not had it go cold yet.
Longest without disconnecting has probably been about 2 & 1/2 hours so far...

Did you have to change a lot of your setup? Hoses and connectors etc..?

Just looking at the corwoods heater and the L5. both seem to operate at 20 to 80psi… Does using 100psi sure flow pumps cause a problem?

No, nothing really.
Cut the hose between your pump & reel put a hoselock connector on each end and plug into the boiler.
It really is that simple!

I was worried about the pressure. I run at 2/5 on my analog flow controller with 100psi pump. No problems whatsoever.

It was so easy I wished I'd bought it before.

So you haven't had to upgrade to thermobore hose on the hose reel, or any connectors to metal ones?

I already had metal connectors for everything.
Hose-not sure tbh, I bought it from a mate, if there was any writing on it, it's long rubbed off.
Why not set it up with your existing hose and see how you get on. If it doesn't pop you're quids in. If it does, you thought you might need to anyway...
