New pole?
«

Hi all, I'm considering buying a new pole as mine looks a bit worse for wear, was going to buy a gardener s pole but seen a few complaints.
What's the best pole on the market for every day domestic houses mainly 2 storey but the odd 3 storey?

Im getting a new every day residential pole soon and i'm swaying towards a clx18 with sill brush and aqua-dapter at the moment
I would try a phoenix pro 18 but gardiners clx is cheaper and you get a free brush
I will keep my slx25 and put a extreme wide brush on it for the bigger jobs

if money is a problem then i think the clx is the better choice. if you can push for the extreme then go for that
i use an slx but if i could i would push for the extreme

The clx 18 is great for 2 story work I have only been using one for about 3 months
and its a joy to use both light and rigid.
Don't think you will need anything better at that length anything longer go for the slx.

SLX 25 is an excellent all round pole and good for 3 storey work too, while light and manageable for everything else. Only downside for me is the new clamps can be a pain as they tend to swivel round the pole when open.
The Facelift Phoenix gets good reviews and the clamps seem very good but it is more expensive than the Gardiner equivalent.
My advice is go full carbon and look after the pole.

Paul ette,
have you tried the Facelift poles ?
To be honest they are cracking poles and really well priced.

Sorry bud, I've just had an email from Mr Gardiner saying I can put the value of the CLX towards other Gardiners kit! What a legend.
I was actually about to order another HS extreme extension so I've gone for that.
Sorry.
