Im going to buy a new pole ive been using a clx 27 every day and have just put some new clamps on it so its still got plenty of life in it but while the wife has been looking after the little one ive been using her  new clx 18 and lifes a lot easyer on the body.
I can only stretch to a slx but im unsure what to do get the slx 22 and get the old clx 27 when its needed or just go for the slx 25 which im sure would do 95% of my work.
Is the slx 25 ideal for using all day every day im comeing to the conclusion that the clx 27 fully extended is a little difficult to work with.
Just wondered what the opinions of others would be.

Go for bigger!! There will be times where you wished for the extra few foot!

slx25 is perfect for every day work, buy an extension to make a slx30 if needed

I use a slx18 for 95% of my work & a slx30 fot the rest.
Personally i wouldnt want to use a slx25 all day, most of the time you dont need it.
Lots of pole hose gragging about etc.
O would get a slx18 or 22 and use the clx27 for the odd higher job

Slx-22 and clx-27 is what I use perfect combo

Glad I didn't get the slx-25 as the extra section
Is rarely needed until I do Victorian  3 story stuff
Do I need the 27 any way

Next poles I buy will be to up grade the clx-27
To an slx-30

Then up grade the slx-22 to extreme-22

i have a clx18 and this is my everyday pole

Too me its about the lightest pole at a height i will use everyday and price

The extreme is out of range(according to you)
The slx will be more heavier (but more rigid)
The clx lighter but with more flex in it but a good price

Personal i dont see the problem with the flex, if anything i think it can be an advantage over connys etc

I honestly think a clx 22/25 with an extreme brush will be a good option

Just my opinion and too prove it i will dismantle my slx35 and use tomorrow as a slx22 and report back

I use a clx18 for my everyday pole and have a slx25 for everything else.
Any work that the slx25 cant reach I don't want.
When my clx18 is done it will be replaced with a slx18.
Get the lightest pole you can afford but also get the right length.
Don't work all day with a longer and heavier pole than needed just to save on a few walks back to the van.

i would go for a 25ft SLX mate then you will cover all bases.for me there is nothing worse than going back to the van for another pole just for an extra 2 or 3 ft of length!(well there is but you know what i mean! ).

i have a slx 22 and its great for lots of work but it comes up a bit short on quite a bit of work so its an emergency back up pole for now.

a 25ft extreme is one up from the slx and this is my pole of choice for lots of work but a 25 ft slx is still a good light pole for regular use.

a 18 ft pole would be a waste of time for most of my work as its just too short for lots of awkward windows over extensions and connys.

I have a clx 18 and 27 and a slx 18, 22 and 30 the 22 hardly ever gets used however at one time it was my main pole. I generally use the slx 18 for 80% of work the slx 30 gets use for almost all the rest I don't use the clx poles now, they are reserved for helpers or backup.

I would not consider trying to use one pole for all work now, after a few years your shoulders will let you know why. If you can, get a combo of a slx 18 and 30 for domestic and light commercial work. If you cant stretch to both get a clx 18 and then a slx 30. The 22, and 25 are a waste of time in my opinion unless you have lots of work at that specific level. the rest of the time you will be pushing extra weight around.
