Hi tracey,
I think its big business in offices, i know there are companies that specialise in only pc cleaning and i beleive from what ive heard is quite lucrative, but does involve some heavy insurance policies for obvious reasons. As for home pc's i must admit i dont know of anyone going round houses cleaning pc's but ill bet now ive said that someone will say"i do" :D

With reference to the office computer cleaning, as you may or may not remember, we had to move offices due to ours being blown up because of the petrol depo - buncefield - in hemel hempstead going up in flames.
A lot of dust etc was in our computers, keypads etc. So the insurance company gave us permission to get them professionally cleaned.
I think we havearound 35 computers. It took 2 men 4 days to clean these!! Ok, they took them to the warehouse, but took off the computer casing, the monitor casing and cleaned them with the keyboard then replaced back to the desk after.

Just an idea of how long it takes to clean these in a commercial enviroment.

Oh yes, we should be able to move back to our premises around December time this year  :D
