Buying a recently canvassed round
« on: July 22, 2013, 10:47:35 pm »
Have the opportunity to buy a recently canvassed round for just less than twice the monthly value.

I have asked as many questions that I can think off such as frequencys, prices, no of custys size of properties etc etc

It's a little bit further than I am used to travelling but not too far, happy to travel there!

Plus side is its very compact work spread over 4 or 5 streets, The only thing that is putting me off is the fact that for slightly more money I could have a canvasser in somewhere to my specific location, but there are no guarantees that it would be as compact as this!

Any extras to look out for?

I'd give it a miss, you will probably lose half after the first clean

Its easy to get compact work over 5 streets, if new builds or if an area where few window cleaners work or where a windy has packed in! I find gold patches all the time when regular canvassing.
As windiewasher said goto every house or pay x1 before doing them and the rest on completion.

Yes mate i just logged on and saw! Great cheers for that. I will get hold of her over the next few days and see what can be arranged, i dont want much more commercial but another 5/10 biggish jobs a year would be just what the doctor ordered.

I have a few care homes to quote over the next few days,if I get a few of them I will be happy.Im trying to get as much commercial as possible, might be quoting loads of work for the local housing association too.
I quoted a school today for 3 times a year, talking to the caretaker and the window cleaner that was doing them takes 2 weeks but the other summer he managed to do it in 6 full days, lol
I would be upset if it took more than 1 day!
