Any chance I could have one too? Got a job tomorrow and even though its empty they have asked this afternoon for both method statement and risk assessment!

Thanks

A quick point about Risk assessments , nobody can remotely write one without seeing the site , nor should they be done the previous day, what should be asked for is a TEMPLATE or FORM for a risk assessment.

All that you need to identify is the Hazards , and the risks associated need to be made low- using control measures.

Eg Hazard - hoses trailing across the floor  ....Risk - tripping over the hose ..... control measures- use signs, run hoses to edge of walkways.

We have all called these forms and paperwork BS , when something occurs and the HSE is crawling all over you , a pre typed up, clearly done off site, by someone who has not been on site one , will result in FINES/PRISON/ LOSS OF REPUTATION.
