pump in baffle tank ?
« on: July 15, 2013, 03:11:06 pm »
I have a 650 liter baffled tank on my van , which i hook up to my pressure washer via the tap and hose and away i go .
The pressure is ok but obviously not as powerful as say running from a house hold tap with good pressure .

Is there a pump set up for instance that can be dropped into the tank to push more pressure out ? someone mentioned a type of caravan pump that can be connected to a single car battery ? any help or links would be appreciated.

You don't say what size the outlet is on your tank. You don't say what pressure washer you are using!

Put a minimum 3/4 inch hose, with filter into the top of your tank, as your water supply hose, to the pressure washer.

This is presuming that the pressure washer is indeed one that will draw from a tank, is it?

The feed needs to come from the bottom of the tank which would then give a positive pressure to your pump
