who is going to do the leafletting ? thats what it all hinges on

i only leaflet in Springtime but iv learnt the hardway that 4 hour sessions are the very max  ,after that i guarantee cheating/hiding/  and swinging the lead will start no matter who it is doing it

2 hour sessions get a good result , 3 its pushing it and 4 is a gamble that i take

It does work, but you have to do big numbers, and repeat,  you need a good design that makes people call you.

Just got a design done recently, and will be giving it a try in next few months.

im just about to embark on a big leaflet campaign= 12k per 4 weeks continuous .
i will be doing a summary of the results found against canvassing .
i will be canvassing 18 days a month/eves and weekends .
and also dropping 12k leaflets every 4 weeks aswell and not in guaranteed areas i will canvass.
and i will record the results over a 10 week period.
leaflets will also summarise the extras gained that canvassing does not really generate.

i really need to see what achieves the maximum in cold hard facts, = ££££ so i can see where to focus.

went out tonight and canvassed for 1hr and got 2  = £20.50 per 4 weeks.= £266.50 pr annum. very tidy for nothing but my time. thats nearly a weeks wage for an employee???????

A great way of looking at it Carl - we do the same best to be positive  ;D

We found students are excellent they get paid per thousand plus bonus for every enquiry that turns into a regular job - the extra keeps them motivated and delivery

Smudger..Like the student idea.. What price per 1000 dropped would you pay?
Good punctuation and grammar, makes the difference between helping your uncle Jack, off a horse & helping your uncle, jack off a horse. ;D

If you not, bothered about targeting specific areas then get 5-10,000

If you are then 5,000 may be far to many that is on basis that you are only after regular window cleaning custys and gutter and con cleans .

I got,5,000 leflets and have only been able to drop about half in my target areas, and have no intenion of widening my resi areas only commercial . Mike

I've just done 2 lots of 5,000 leaflets over the last 2 months and the response has been brilliant.
As soon as i've caught up with all the new work I shall be doing another 10 or 20 thousand leaflets.
I'm building the second half of my round so I'm really pleased how it's going.  :)

Mick, I literally stopped counting the number of customers and focussed on the income.
The leaflets have paid for themselves twice over easily and more. The quality of the customers has been top notch averaging about 20-35 quid a pop and I've done loads of soffit/fascia cleans leading to regular customers. And that's not even on my leaflet! One customer alone spent 65 quid on a big first clean bungalow and connie roof and now wants all soffits etc done (another 125 quid).
