Nice site!

I spotted an error where there were x2 'or' next to each other in a paragraph earlier and now can't find it.

Very curious to know how much you pay per transaction for DD, as I looked into this and it seemed quite costly per customer.

Regards
Lance

Well spotted,.. on the home page too!

A professional proof reader missed that one!  :o

thanks guys - Andy* - sorry looks like we nicked some of your blurb, I saw it on your site after saying you took go cardless on here too, and asked Nate to take a peek on how you had it laid out, would you like me to change it at all - sorry, my fault not nates, no offence meant :)

Lance is 1% per transaction https://gocardless.com/pricing - capped at £2.00 max per transaction.

sorry to be the naysayer, but I think it's just ok.

Firstly I HATE hover links, like on the menu because they never work correctly on phones and tablets and get in the way and are super annoying.  As soon as I see them on a page on my mobile, I close that page.

secondly, youtube videos embedded like that won't show on iphones, or ipads, and after a while get adverts that have to buffer for ages before you can watch the video, which is highly annoying.  Or they get adverts along the bottom which is also annoying.  I would never use youtube for videos.

thirdly, the font size/type is too big and clumsy, not properly spaced.  Especially noticable on the FAQ page.  And on that page there's a big gap at the bottom of the text - looks silly.

fourthly, that weird bunch of text at the bottom with a load of window cleaning phrases on it, which I suppose is supposed to increase your search engine rating, looks stupid.  Also I read somewhere that google can detect when a website is trying to manipulate the results like this, and downgrades you for it.  IMO the website should be viewable to the reader above all, not the search engine.

If you'd done it yourself, I'd say well done, not a bad effort.  But the fact that you've got a so-called pro to do it, (and £700!) makes me criticise more heavily because they should know what they're doing.

ON THE OTHER HAND - I don't even have a website at all, so you're still better than me.

Bit harsh, I think it's a decent web site for £700.
And have you even tried it on a phone?
It's fine on mine and doesn't utilise the hover icons like it does on my laptop.

Hi Darran

It's no problem you don't need to change it at all.

Andy :-)
