Blood on mattress
« on: June 19, 2013, 07:33:56 pm »
Hi,
anybody had any success with blood stains on mattresses.
There are two stains about the size of a 50p coin.
Not a great deal of blood but wondering on the chances of
removal.
Thanks
Ben

blood is actually an easy one
do not use hot water
flush with cold water and proceed with standard stain spotter

cold water should do it but if it's a bit stuborn a dab of protein spotter. In extreme circumstances rust remover. Rinse well between treatment use airmovers to dry.

M Power spotter worked for the wife the other day at Sister in Laws house.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

It all depends on what material the mattresse is made of. A lot of them are purely manmade so blood stains will come out even with lemonade, however cotton rich fabrics are a lot harder to deal with.
