Peter Jones meets.... Del Boy

This is a really good series, Peter jones interviewing multi millionaires about their business. Just shows what you can do from nothing if you put your mind to it.

Very interesting viewing, forgot the Del Boy character's name but the program only briefly mentioned his carpet cleaning business but did not name it, does anyone know (wasn't Enterprise was it? ;D)

yeah I would normally enjoy a programme like that but I cant bear to watch that git who runs The Range as the bar stewards at The Range have allowed a private parking company (also massive bar stewards) to take over all their car parks and charge people 100 pounds or more if they stay one minute over 2 hours at their stores - my wife did not see the signs (no really she has no recollection of seeing them) and now they are taking me to court for 175 pounds when she was shopping in their bloody store and had spent 48 quid but was not aware of the new hitler regime of parking cameras - she has been there loads of times but not stayed that long before (although they only bought this scheme in recently) the range are a bunch of devious chancers...

have they given you a definite court date?/

or ............ as I suspect, just suggested the threat of court?

If it is a private company.... They will not take you to court.. They would lose.
Everyday this forum slips further from God.  :'(

It's a great programme. Not only have you got Peter jones rather than some clueless journo, you see a contrast of approaches of equal success. Some are born and some are made and money has no conscience.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Hector - thanks for your mail - I replied - would share it on here but (a) cant use any decent earthy Anglo-Saxon bad language on here because it gets substituted with stupid misspelt alternatives made up by the dolts in the thought police at CIU and (b) probably off topic

One thing is for certain though THEY CAN and have won in court - it is trespass and contract they are using plus the new FOPA

Wynne

Thank you for posting that.

It has given me the impetus to make a rather large business decision, a slight detour from current services, with a reasonable amount of capital required.

The opportunity could be bigger than my existing business and I needed a shove.

That has done it, if it goes as I expect I will personally come and buy you a very large drink!!

Thank you

Rob ;D
