`Shark` Remote Control Problem
« on: February 25, 2006, 09:48:21 am »
Just wondered if anyone using the `Shark` make of remote control is
Or has experienced the same problem I`m having right now and have
Been for a few weeks.I `click` to start and away I go.After a few seconds
The pump just stops working. After a few more seconds the pump starts
Again, then `cuts` out and stops again etc. After working for awhile things
Seem to settle down and the pump works normally.Any ideas anyone?
Is it the cold weather, low battery perhaps in the receiver or what? All comments
And advice much appreciated.

I had similar probs with the one provided by Peter Fogwill's trolley system. It needed re setting occasionally and then didn't switch off consistently.

I have used an Auto-brush for the past two months and chucked the remote away. The Auto-brush is brilliant!
It's a game of three halves!

Thanks guys, glad you like it.

Lewis, it sounds more like a pump problem than a faulty remote.

Lewis what size, make and age is the pump ?
Have you tried bench testing it, water in and water out with no restrictions ; running it for half an hour and then ditto using the shark switch.
