Sounds like possible wheel bearings or cv joint.

Find an empty car park and put it on full lock if it makes a noise on full lock when go fowards then that cv joint is worn

A good chance its the top mount on the front strut, open the bonnet and look for any movement in the top of the shock absorbers when you turn the wheel lock to lock.
