I've been doing web design as a hobby for 10 years or more,.. started to get more into it about 7 years ago doing it mostly for friends & family - and it just took off from there! I'm getting to the point now where I'm actually doing more web design than windows,.. I've been flat out the past 3 weeks doing websites, only doing 1 day a week on the glass!
Its not something you can ever say you're an expert at though, as the whole area changes beyond recognition every couple of years & you have to constantly keep learning. It is something I really enjoy doing though, and its great to have a wet weather job to compliment the windows.
Good work nathanael! Funny thing is when i first started window cleaning i also started to learn web design as a friend of mine is a full time self employed web desinger who set me on the right path with it
Then as time went on a got fed up of trying to learn html etc etc and decided to put all my efforts into the windows
So i was just wandering how long it took you to learn web design to a standard where you can make a living (be it part time in your case) from it?
