Thomas Higgins Debt Collecting
« on: May 09, 2013, 08:44:55 am »
Finally got a cheque and payment for a £36 debt today after going through each stage of the debt collecting process with Thomas Higgins. This one really wound me up as i paid a canvasser to get the job, we cleaned it twice at £18 and she didnt pay, wouldnt answer her phone , answer my messages , nothing, she didnt respond to initail £2 letter threatening court action , i had to pay around £100 ish to take her to court and the court wrote to her with a date and issued a CCJ, she had a week or so to pay to avoid it. Next stage was to send in the Bailiffs which would have cost me another £80. Got an answerphone message from a very upset lady last night telling me how her husband left her , then went bankrupt , how she has never been able to get through to me or Thomas Higgins and how she has left numerous messages for us both!! And how these were documented by her but she is sending a cheque for £141 to me , and i recieved it this morning..... hahahahaha , Fantastic , serves her right , and in using debt collectors like Thomas Higgins it finally gives businesses like ours the authority to collect money that is owed to us fair and square from these lo life debt dodging shiseters ;D

well done mate I'm about to go the same route for a £10 debt, she answered the phone once after I turned my caller id off, I'd phoned many times, she even said you couldnt have cleaned them the gate was locked.
