Pub carpets drying etc
« on: May 09, 2013, 10:47:34 am »
Just about to go quote for 2 pub carpets, 1 around the bar and the other bar area and restaurant.

The landlady needs one of them dry in 2-3 hours if I clean at night. I have no air mover. Would this be possible with a double vac using my Airflex Storm?

If not can air movers be rented?

Also what would be a fair price per square meter? I could really do with securing these jobs as its been a very quiet few months.

you can hire air movers joe but you do that twice and you could have bought one second hand . put an add in the wanted/for sale section someone might have one or call a fellow local carpet cleaner and ask to borrow one. is it not possible to low moisture clean the carpet that must be dry in 2 hours if it's not too manky. only u can decide the price mate . I work out how long it's going to take roughly so the price is what I want to earn an hour but with a bit for the business added on top . I hope that helps u mate ..

ps joe ... could you e mail me the name of the person on fiverr who done your website video . there's loads of them that do it but the music on yours is wicked. cheers mate . thecleaningbloke@live.co.uk

As Dan says if you have a rotary use that iv'e done pubs with my Dry Fusion that were full of blacktop etc just nice hot Chem good agitation if you don't have Rotary then start were they want dry 1st turn PSI down and do more dry strokes aslong as you don't overwet then it should dry if you have a rotary but need to HWE then do that thenpost bonnet to help dry.

If you have a rotary go over the carpet with a dry bonnet once extracted this will also help dry carpet off quickly plus where it isnt too bad you can just low moisture clean it.

One tip is to use plenty of odour fresh in your tank the first impression the landlady will get is a nice fresh smell.
