Any of you guys use trailer setups?
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:42:52 pm »
As we are a small maintenance firm and need our day to day hand and power tools in the van 99% of the time we keep all our pressure washing gear in the lock and load up when need and at the moment this is once a week. This is becoming a pain now loading and unloading going back and forth from the unit.

Another van would be the first choice with tank and washer onboard but this is a cost at the moment along with servicing it, taxing it and insuring it I can't afford.

So was wondering if anybody uses a trailer and how you get on with it.
Was think along the lines of a small/medium sizes box trailer that I keep everything in and just hook up rather than taking out the vans contents to load up the washer then unload the next day as load back up with hand/power tools.

Thanks.
Ian

I use a trailer for 2 man jobs, works fine, thought about getting a box trailer and kitting it out solely for powerwashing but would like to use it for other things, going the tip etc, so the plant trailer is fine, just wheel the washer and tank on and off when I need it

I use a trailer set up with a small galvanised trailer with mesh side extensions. works great. ramps to get the gear off if need be but nearly always work from the trailer as it is easy to move about. just need plenty of hose and a small plumbed wheelie bin as a tank. unhooks at the end of the day and goes in garage.

Yea that sounds easier thank hauling gear in and out the lock up and van all the time.
You have any pics of the setup?
