Hi gents
I do a lot of this in my current job, but a post on the other just occurred to me some fellas are not so up on this.

Do many of you fellas PAT test your portables etc.

???i dont pat test myself but i get my machine serviced every6 months and its pat tested then. Mind you i get terrible static shocks on nylon carpets it looks like i walk funny

I am sure all you chaps use a RCD in your mains lines eh , remember you can't guarantee the customer has not put a 6 inch nail in the fusebox.
If you fry little timmy on a wet carpet becauce a mains lead has been damaged , you will not be popular.
I would recommned you all get an RCD.
