« on: April 25, 2013, 08:32:24 pm »
Has anybody used it, is it good.
What I don't understand is there are specialist leather training courses so how can 1 product be ok for all leather types??
Any advise appreciated as to be honest it's for cleaning my own settee rather than offering a service.

I use chemspecs leather cleaner and conditioner when cleaning those suites that have a leather frame and fabric cushions. Usually the leather on those suites are not that dirty, dark in colour and clean easy.

For everything else leather, I use LTT and I've also heard buffalo leather care products are good too but never tried them myself.

Let us know if we can help.
You really need specific cleaners and methods for diffrent leathers to get best results. Generic cleaners will only give basic results on finished leather.
Protectors are now used rather than 'conditioners' due to the modern coatings used.
Prochem recommend our courses (beyond their own) for those wanting a mre in depth insight into the different types of leather and how they shoud be cleaned.
We have recently produced a specific cleaner for Aniline Leather that removes stains - a unique product based on latest technology cleaning.
Hope this helps
