HI, I use my Airdex without foam for cloth upholstery (with foam for leather) and encapping stairs. It saves a lot of work. First, I use it to dry vacuum then pre-spray, next I agitate with the Airdex and finally rinse with a CFR tool. I saw one for sale on here last week. David
