Ive never used a controller, always used a tap on the pole hose.

We have a two man set up with two flojets and taps on belt - perfectly good.

I did have an electronic controller but never replaced it when it died.
It's a game of three halves!

I don't have a controller just a pole tap.
Less to go wrong, I turn the water off between windows and it's never bothered the pump. :D
