Yes there is. I think it is about £750 per man. two day course. Cannot for the life of me remember who it is though. I enquired and they sent me emails for months. If no one else comes up I will look through my mail

Do a search on drain jetting training - Jetmasters and a load of others come up.

Good luck

You can get a certificate but you will never replicate those real life adventures. Where are you ?

The drains are probably at least half of my income - more before the adoption. The rest is spread between gutters, pressure washing and a small amount of carpets and pest control.

Swansea is the other side of the world to spend any time with me - could you not find a sensible drain bloke near you who could show you the ropes ? Given the right jobs coming up I recon I could give you a good grounding in a couple of days but when you want those jobs it would probably go quiet.

By a drain tracer do you mean a Sonde set up. I would have bought that off you had I known.

i think maybe I will learn to walk before I run, i'l stick to the drives and patios first and see how I get on.
I had a Poseidon with a gx390 but sold it last year as I thought I was going to be too busy on the carpets but things have gone really quiet and I wish I had kept it now but that's life.

If you are thinking that far ahead I don't think I was far off on my first post. There are some very good second hand jetters for sale on Ebay, that would adapt to one/two man pressure washer and with the right connections could easily be changed back to a jetter

Have a look

Seems to be goood money in drains, all the companies round here have nice 62 plate vans etc.
Rob, yes it was a sonde set up, sold it the other day for 280.... I had never used it, it was like new... the thing is... i googled the model to check it out before i sold it and they are only £249 brand new, I was shocked at the price I sold it (technically second hand). Do you want the link to the site mate?

Yes please Kenny.

I went to look at some work about three weeks ago and if I had one I would have priced it but couldn't. They can be very expensive bits of kit so i would have thought that was the lower end product?

My sonde sits behind the camera head so when I come across a problem I can locate that above ground with the CAT scanner ( cable avoidance tool ).
