powerburst in inline sprayer
« on: February 28, 2013, 05:25:44 pm »
Anyone know why PB is only 3 scoops per litre mix for an inline sprayer? Not used it in the sprayer before, and I don't want it too weak.

It should be 8 times the RTU dilution in an inline Hydroforce with a yellow tip (standard with yellow ).

Yea, I know, that's what I want to do....but this is what the prochem website says

"Mix 15ml (1 measure scoop) of Power Burst per litre of hot water (1 to 66) (maximum temperature 65°C).
For injection sprayer, mix 45ml (3 measure scoops) of Power Burst per litre of hot water in the sprayer container."

Seems to me it'll be too weak

If it helps I put 15 level scoops in mine, hope I’m not over doing considering I only use a soft water rinse and on 80/20 to boot  :o

My container holds 4L, so 15 scoops works out at 3.75 scoops per litre. With 1:8 dilution by the sprayer it seems logical to put in 8 scoops per litre.
Do you get good results with the 15 scoops Len?

Thanks Len, I'll try it with the 15 scoops in the full container, I guess you wouldn't mix it like that if you weren't happy!

So are Prochem assuming that the users in line sprayer is set to 1:8 or 1:4 ?
Mine is set to 1:9 with the yellow tip

I thought this ages ago so I phoned up Prochem and the receptionist put me through to a young lady who specialised in chemicals. When I asked about dilution rates for a hydraforce she replied `what`s a hydraforce?`. ::)roll
