« on: February 19, 2013, 08:27:13 pm »
There have been a lot of comments (positive) about Ashbys new enforcer machine, could you guys tell me how Ashbys have performed after you've bought the machine.
I'm looking at getting an enforcer as a new back up machine.

Many thanks

Mr B

Ps, also, if anybody has the auto fill and auto dump, and remote ontrol, let me know how it performs!

If in doubt.....Leave it out !!

Not sure if you've seen the other thread Brian (http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=165799.0) - Russ is one person who mentions something about it (he has auto fill & dump too), not sure about anyone else though.

Brian

I have spent probably a couple of hours posting stuff about my opinion of Ashby's as have many others it can all be found using the search facility there is a wealth of bad experiences from different people going back years, some have good experiences but i think i am right in saying that the consensus of opinion is negative, not going into all the details again suffice to say that, if you do not have trust in your supplier find some else and that's what i did.

Ashby's are in my opinion underhand and untrustworthy. the quick buck rules should be there motto i have no experience of there machine but have seen evidence to suggest that better more powerful machines are about, despite what Ashby's say and claim. good trustworthy after sales and support is vital, if you buy an enforcer and they repair and maintain it, then always take your debit card with you  ::)roll

But their machines are well thought out and built.
Only one small problem with mine whilst under
warranty and that was sorted ok.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Yeah i quite liked my Ninja it was a good basic machine, not as powerful as what i have now and certainly not as easy to work on as the Airflex, which is childs play, well it has to be for me to work on it, i have never understood Ashby's attitude to there customers.

Despite whatever they are like to deal with i think people will buy the Enforcer on the merit of its design .
Someone put some serious thought into the design details ,  i cant fault its design anyway .
What its got going for it  ,   design and quality build  ,  easyload system  ,  uses some of the newer vac motors , one cord operation ,  Onboard heat .
Its also priced well starting at 2200 for the machine + 3kw immersion .

Of course they are probably not as bad to all there customers as in my experience, but in the four years i have been on this forum they have gained some notoriety and not just from me regarding the service they provide, more so than any other supplier i can remember.

without mentioning  names i can think of another two suppliers that give Crap service and only think about the money they are taking off you at the time and give back very little customer loyalty

Yeah there are people who rattle on about a supplier  to give them leverage with their complaint , even when they did not buy machine from them

Terry Burrows has done this and then never posts on another subject

Ian i have not had any dealings with them for over two years, so have no on going complaint that needs resolving, however i did not buy my machine from them although i spent nearly two thousand with them on equipment and servicing/ maintenance. i never liked the attitude of Derek's son Martin who i found condescending, but by then i had my Ninja so i was stuck i couldn't repair and maintain it myself so i relied on them.

I was very naive with no knowledge of equipment etc, it took a while for me to realise what was happening, when i did change supplier to Cleansmart and dealt with Matt i realised just how stupid i had been. Even in this case i did not buy a new machine but Mat honoured the guarantee that existed, i  also remember him on more than one occasion  advising me not to buy stuff from him i did not need to improve my machine. Of course Mat is in business like the rest of us but it's clear to me that he recognises that if customers are treated well they will return.

They have also helped me to learn to maintain my machine over the phone with step by step instructions even i can understand even though i have zero knowledge or experience in this, i understand that not every person who had had dealings with Ashby's is unhappy, but i think it is fair to say they had had more than any other, mostly due to customer care, the debacle over that video was another example, they used a customers machine without his permission to do that so called "test" depriving him of  his means of earning a living, imagine taking your car in for a service and months later seeing it in a road test against another car on utube.
Just another example of how they treat there "valued" customers.

James I was not thinking of you as you are always on here.
I agree Matt is a great bloke I would certainly consider one of his machines, as he is about same distance from me as Alltec .although I did get lost in Nottingham when I went on his first Course which I posted on this Forum breaking all the rules ;D ;D but it was such a bargain.
