has anyone in the UK bought a washer from Jetmacsystems based in Northern Ireland,   would it be too much hassle in case item needed to be returned to there base for waranty repairs,   i once emailed Terry,  he said i could use any honda dealer repair centre in UK if washer became faulty while still under waranty.
Surelly if they sold the pressure washer are they not solelly responsible for repairs under their waranty terms.
thus meaning i would have to return to Northern Ireland at my expense.

In theory any Honda dealer will fix the engine - you cannot expect too much good will in a case when say a key shears and a new crank is needed, if in this case you return it to the original dealer who supplied the engine and pump. I had exactly this but the spider plate/stub shaft failed after only 2 weeks but I rang the supplier who said they were happy for me to strip and send the photo, I did this on site. The next day I had the part before 9 am and I finished the job that day. I have spoken to Terry and to be honest I chose not to buy a machine from him and chose Wrightway instead - for the exact reason of him being in a foreign land, overseas and speaking a language I struggle to understand

Check what pump and gearbox is fitted if you buy from Jetmac. Jap engine good..Chinese pump bad. Chinese "whirl-a-way" type fsc worse.

Personally i'd not recommend Jetmac systems. He's quite happy to take your money and selling you chinese crap, and even happier to be rude and uninterested when you call them to complain.

I paid him £2500 for a yanmar pressure washer, only for it to blow up less than a year later, pistons coming through then engine block on someone's driveway. - Made me look a right div.

I called him up explaining what had happened, and his reply was basically ' you only spent £2500, how long did you expect it to last!?' - I then found out when sending my machine off to someone else to get a replacement engine, that in fact it was a chinese copy yanmar.

The guy is a rip off merchant, and a lot of the stuff he sells is moody in my opinion.

good review. That was a lot of money to purchase.  why do you not see many Loncin enging pressure washers 4 sale second hand.

I bought a loncin from Terry 3 years ago now a back up but has never let me down so don't know about
warranty if your worried buy local as if it goes wrong returning could be costly

Yeh, my good deal lasted about 12 months.

Come to think of it, the telescopic lance I bought from him broke too! - To be fair though it had a hard life!

I've bought the odd bit off Terry with no problems. If buying a full PW though I'd go with Malcolm Smith. Nothing too much for Malcolm and if you're just starting out he'lways happy to talk you through stuff.
