Waterproof trousers
« on: February 11, 2013, 08:40:01 am »
Can anyone help this is driving me crazy... We use Base tech waterproofs (designed for weed kill spraying) have used them for years and they have been great. Recently purchased three new sets of trousers...... they have stayed waterproof for only a few weeks, totally useless, came back from a job yesterday looking like a drowned rat.. freezing. Assume they have changed the spec will speak to supplier as they are not cheap.

Any suggestions  ??? I have done a search but most of the posts seem to be from the windies - not sure recommendations will work subject to pressure washing! Thks .. need them asap  ;D

We use the goretex ex-army overtrousers when we work. - You can buy them on Ebay.

I think we pay about £15 a set and they last forever and a day.
