i dont think these are designed for hot water  ??? i am a sceptic to hot sysyems as what do you realy benefit if its too cold to work have the day of no customer is that bothered , just more exspence and more of a danger , i think at some stage it will be pointed out that you should have signs on vans to show what you are carrying , more money on the insurance . all for warm hands better just go and buy a pair of gloves. ;D ;D ;D

Landy-give it a go with hot. Once you've tried you'll never want to go back. It's much easier. You can have a go on mine if you wanna make the trip...
SBPF-Have you tried using jubilee clips where possible or brass rather than hoselock?

plastic connector?...not sure what you mean
on the reel there is a bent metal elbow,if you use micro bore you then need a screw in barb, either 1/8 or 1/4 this goes into the bent elbow and the hose attached to this.this is what i have on mine and it doesn't leak,i have a l5 heater gardiners sell them
