they all vary, i had a 11lpm machine once and that struggled to get the supply it needed from some taps, the ojly thing you would be safe with is something around 7lpm, like a domestic crappy karcher or something, that would guarentee 99% of taps would supply it, not worth bothering with realy as it would take you days to complete jobs adn they still wouldnt be done properly

Thanks, i'll have to have a think about if i want to add pw. I have come close a few times in the past, but the size of the equipment and seasonality of it have put me off.

you may want to start doing the odd driveway clean,  but when you become more experienced with a top range pressure washer  you will realise what other work you could do  with more experience.  if you will be happy doing the odd drive when asked you will not need anything too expensive, but if you have a top of the range high lpm washer  you wouldnt be too afraid of completing bigger ,higher paid jobs. its upto you what washer yopu need, its all down to £££££££££££ you want to spend.       lots of honda high lpm on ebay,   just too far for me atm
as you can see from some posts   pressure washing can become a full time occupation  if you are confident and become good enough at it.    You then have to attract your customers and get out there and find customers and other contracts.  I aim to look ahead past driveway cleaning but i need the experience and skills yet to even consider that yet.
I havent even got my washer yet     but the money is put aside for March April.   I am still gaining the basic knowledge off guys on forums meanwhile,   to which i am very gratefull.
