Hi all.

Day off today snowing lightly here in waltham abbey but scary how quickly everthing was covered in the space off an hour 

Had an idea but knowing me it's a stupid one

If I got a L5 heater but fitted in my garage (en-bloc) would it be a silly idea to run my cold water barrels 1 full to an empty one and so on to fill barrels with hot from L5.

My thinking is I have smallish van ford escort and didn't want to cramp with heater gas bottle etc.

So fill with hot into barrels load in van, they do fit in very tightly against each other so would help keep themselves warm.

Just like to add my ro system is at parents place 6 miles away, didn't want to start adding heating elements to static tank in their garage etc, their really helpful with it all but their in their 60's and they fear change

I live in flat but have garage en-bloc 10 second walk away.

Would i use tons of gas doing it this way am I silly billy

No its not a silly idea. I feel it could work well all you need a is a pump to transfer the water from one tank to the other through a water heater l5 it might be better to  put the water into a butt and then pump it through a l5 into barrels as it will be a continues pumping. What I done is covered the barrels with a foil insulation with spray contact glue cost was 10 quid a roll and still have half a roll left. As FAR AS GAS COST IT WILL NOT COST MUCH. 20 QUID A MONTH.

like he said, the bouns that you have doing it this way you could get a big bottles of gas if you have the cash to do it instead of buying the smaller bottles.
