Adding to my previous thread of "what woud you do" i now would like an idea on how to politely word a letter saying i don't want to clean your house anymore.  I know what i would like to say but it's not polite

Dear bla bla.
It is with regret that as from...... (your company name), will be unable to accept/continue the offer of the domestic/commercial cleaning of your establishment.

It might be an idea to tell the custy your having a price increase then it might be worth the hassle or she might refuse, then she's gone anyway. Just a thought

How about............

Dear

Following a steady period of growth we have reached the point where we need to continue our expansion by employing carefully vetted members of staff.

A consequence of this expansion is that some of our Clients are unable to enjoy the flexibility that they did in the early days with regards to time slots.

You have recently indicated to us that you are not prepared to accept any of our staff into your home to carry out cleaning duties. Furthermore we are unable to accomodate the flexible time slots that you have enjoyed in the past.

It is with regret, therefore, that we wish to terminate our arrangement with effect from....................blah, blah, blah.................

Mel,

Talk about opening  a can of worms!!!!

If I were you I would say it straight!!!

Dear Awkward Customer,(The client real name!!!!)

I am sorry to have to inform you that due to recent business changes, we will no longer be able to fulfil our service on a personal basis.

Our business has recently taken in a large number of new clients which are being serviced by a team of domestic operative.I am therefore unable to service your property personally. I understand that you would like my personal attention, however due to the high volume of paperwork that this new intake has created I am only able to put a min of two operatives at one time.

Should this not be satisfactory, I will unfortunaltey be unable to provide further cleaning services.

I would be grateful if you could contact me before your next scheduled clean with your comments etc...

Regards

Mel

Hope this helps,
