Of course.  Why not?

As long as you put in the washing machine the pistons and crankshaft from a Kawasaki (Tosh's, of course) Z900.

Pour hot water that's over 65C into them. That kills the bacteria that causes the stink.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

Soak them in Milton that's what I do with my wetsuit after a surfing session. Kills the smell  :)

Milton is the liquid that you use to sterilise baby's bottles.
Look in the supermarket, usually in the same aisle as nappy's, blue bottle, white lid.

I've washed mine quite a few times,  they have also been in tumble drier and are still OK.
