connecting flaps
« on: February 10, 2006, 06:00:57 pm »
me again guys,
when i get my wfp system i would like to be able to fill the tank and also use the pole without having leave me van doors open, i think i have seen some fittings that fit into the side of the van that you can push your hoses onto for filling or cleaning and when youve finished you take hose off and close aflap, looks professinal.
anyone know where to get them.
also someone suggested cleantech for ways to mount the tank in the van, but not sure where to look on the site.
thanks again
Bill
there are more windows than window cleaners so lets help each other

For the exterior connection, you are best going to a caravan shop, they are the same thing used for inlet/outlet water,Gaz

Try: www.skypolesystems.co.uk.

Thats where I bought mine the other week(inlet/outlet security port), really helpful there, they do a couple of different ones so have a chat first. Not fitted mine yet though but looks good!

Skypole use sideports, They are very basic caravan fittings.

Brodex do a side port out of Stainless steel. It looks the Buissness. Very pricey though.

You can allways drill a hole in the van floor and use a Hozelock connection.
