Alex gardiners NEW pencil jets.
« on: November 21, 2012, 08:34:51 pm »
Got an email back from Alex today as i was enquiring about 1mm pencil jets; he has some left but is making new size pencil jets, his comments below looks good.
I'm using fans but as we get into colder weather and maybe putting salt down i'm looking to leave less water on the ground.

Use 1mm pencils before and liked, but broke 1 of em and then switched to fan jets.

Alex's comment:
"I am working on a 1.4mm jet size which is almost exactly half the flow rate of the 2mm pencil jets and will fit the same size jet hole. These will be with us in about 3-4 weeks"

Alex just added this in email to me, all sounds good.

"Hi Lee

The reason that I am getting these new size jets made is that we now have a 45cm wide Super-Lite brush which has 4 positions of jet holes (4 pairs making 8 jet holes in total) if a client wants to fit 4 standard pencil jets then this would use twice the water which may be fine for some commercial workers. However if they use 4x the new 1.4mm jets then they will be using exactly the same amount of water still as if they were using 2x of the standard 2mm jets."

I'm using the wide dual trim is heavier but makes up for it in less passes of the window, im using two fan jets and think its great, but 8 1mm jets I would think is great to so ill be trying them when they come out.

PS there are a couple of thin windows I've had to use old brush on.
