Alloy poles arrived today,  had a play and they seem ok,  heavy at an angle though .

Will connect to my vac tomorrow and see how well it works .

Ok  tried my gutter poles with the 1200 watt George Hoover,  it worked but the inlet blocked very quickly and not really powerful enough  .

Been looking into vacuum specs and found the nilfisk 1800 wAtt vac has 80 litres a second airflow and 250 suction power .

That's very close to most of the 3000 watt vacs ( around 100 to 135 litre a second airflow and some had lower suction power 230 )

Thinking of buying one (120 quid) and fitting a cyclonic inlet and 50 mm hose .

Anybody used one?
The alloy poles are fine but expensive for what they are and probably too heavy for higher /awkwArd work .
