Lost a custie today because in her words "your just spraying water at the windows and anyway we don't need a window cleaner in winter". I know I'm well shut of her but it bugs me a bit don't know if it's because I didnt get in first or the fact that she thinks I'm not good at my job. 

I think your customer has a point, if you're just spraying water at the windows.
You should be keeping your customers happy and not just cleaning their windows.
I usually recite Shakespeare's Richard lll speech or sing 'Fog on the Tyne' with my underpants on my head, depending on what sort of person they are. 
You need to look after your customers and give them what they want, even if they don't know what that is themselves.

It's only worth reflecting on cancelled work if you actually did something wrong.

it defies belief how your rounds change weekly even.
when i jump on a van i get mistaken sometimes, then realising they had cancelled or we had dumped them.

take it as a life lesson and move on m8

you really as hard as you try cannot please them all..
i had 1 friday phone up and say that we had missed the bird poo on a kitchen window, now its absolutely impossible to miss that.
so sent van back today to rectify FOC and low and behold its a fresh massive stain.
i will take this on the chin this time , however she is on the immediate dump list unless she proves otherwise.
its then up to her to prove we keep her . not the other way round.... this is the key m8
do i need to clean them? if not dump.
