right , can anyone see a problem with this plan , im going to buy a trolly and fill about 16 barrels { 400 litres } with the pure stuff and will then send someone out in my car to do a days work while i go out in the van , not asking for advice on the legal side of it , i just want to know that in theory it will work , cos i cant see a problem with it , but hey thats what you lot are there for ,  so come on all you doom mongerers piddle on my parade

You need a pole tap to save water and I'd trad
The down stairs then you will only need about 100 L

I have been having this same thought as one of our guys threw a sicky on Monday and we couldn't clean one of the more built up rounds! Rather than sending two vans out to the same area, I was thinking about strategically dropping barrels in the custys gardens and dropping one of the guys off with the trolley system! The other guy will be on same estate so can then help him finish off if needs be! Will save fuel due to being about 30 odd miles away from base!

When I went from a trolley to van mount I reckon I was 20% quicker. Might be a false economy.

I have an astra estate and use barrells every day. But 10 is a lot and you will notice it when driving. I only use about 6 a day and when I do use 10 it is only on 1 job which is an all day one.

you must have some really good proerties to clean to use 250 ltrs of water and make £200+ . im not saying this cant be done .

Yes i do have some realy good work but in reality Its only 20 victorian terrace fronts or 10-15 full houses. Could do it with less than 250 litres easy but just used that as a guideline for the guy wanting to do it with car and trolley.

I have started to wfp all my tops and trad bottoms .
on 1 of my rounds for 1 day is 17 houses and I can do this with 4 25 litre barrels and the 18 litres in my backpack and still have some water left over .

I have thought about doing this....and it will work,....when my brother in law worked for me 2 days a week.....I would fill 12 -13 barrels for him. he would go out in his van.....
he would do 180 or thereabouts, ...I would pay him 80 and I would have the 100...

the only reason it didnt work out was because he was unreliable....

I cant see any reason why someone cant go out in their vehicle, say 5 barrells, a back pack/trolley, and a di unit to fill up.....
pay them well, on a self employed basis.....give them uniform etc and all the letterheaded stationary.......

save all the headache of franchising, and or buying another vehicle

I can't see why it wouldn't work.
I've worked like that with a backpack for periods when i've had van problems.
Keeps the money coming in although I prefer a van mount because it's easier work (less lifting and carrying).
