Ozone machine

I'm thinking of getting an ozone machine to use for fire damaged properties and for general bad odours. Has anyone got one or know if they are worth the money compared to using thermal foggers or chemicals to get rid of the smells

Ozone is very good for fire odours. We use one all the time. They need to be used at the beginning of the job before any cleaning has taken place.
They are part of the deodourisation process and we use them in conjuction with liquid deodouriser and also use thermal fogging at the end of the job.
A decent machine will output ozone at a level where it is not safe for people to stay in the property so only use in empty properties.

Are they easy enough to use and not need much training on one or just plug it in work out the area and how long it needs to be on, set the timer and leave it for a period of time after for the ozone to disapate?

I just leave it on overnight with a window open just a small amount, next day open the door and collect it - no science. I've just cleaned a basement swimming pool that had filled with sewage and will leave that a day to remediate the smell. Thats the second time its happened
