is he canvassing your customers or just advertising and they are approaching him, if it is the first then he is well out of order if it is the second then that is business and you have two options either match him on price or make the qaulity and service you provide better so that people are willing to pay the difference, if he is getting compact work on his windowcleaning at them prices then it is still possible to make good money on them if he can keep his overheads down
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

Something's not right here.
He clears gardens, carpet cleans and cleans windows to the tune of 30 calls a day.
He is having you on mate, unless your following him round.

I would not worry about his business and concentrate on building yours with people that want a reliable quality service, because if this is true he will soon be too full and will not be able to offer a reliable service.

its too early to see if hes in it for the long haul.    an ex employee of mine set up and started undercutting some of my customers , but i now notice his van is parked outside his home nearly all the time.

If he's cleaning 30 per day including upvc and conservatories he must be working 5am-10pm and carrying about 2,000 litres of water.
At that rate exhaustion will probably finish him off and problem solved.

I'm missing something.  If he's taking 30 bookings a day he must be doing 30 cleans a day at some point or he'll built up a backlog, so he must be stretching the truth.  Where have you got the "30 bookings a day" from?  Him?

The figures do not add up, to get that amount of booking per day you would need a national tv advert !

Sorry to hear your family are making life difficult I just took a look at the web site. I thing I love is the fact that he calls himself a company CEO.I guess his a one man show. I have also seen the term group of Companies now this will not impress any customer they just think we are a bunch of asses with these words.Even calling yourself a company when you are a small one owner show is so big deal.Ha Ha ;D ;D ;D
