leaflets
« on: October 12, 2012, 06:42:50 pm »
Hi Chaps, ive been doing okay with my own leaflets when canvassing as ive been dropping a few off and knocking on doors. However, ive come to an area where they dont seem to appreciate door knocking, every other door has a sign on it saying no cold calling etc etc.
I could walk away from that area, but its decent one if i could get a few custys, some bigger houses - but lots of bungalows which are difficult to get into.

my question is, for those guys who have their leaflets printed - how much are you paying per 1000 leaflets (approx.) and what success rate? i know that can differ in each area but just a general feel to see if its worthwhile having a go at something else.

I will still carry on with the door knocking as well - just not in this area - thanks in advance guys

Cheers

Steve

hi...
have you ever thought about printing your own, as and when you need?
I have used proffesional glossy and my own...and both achieved good results!

I achieve good results even with photocopies....
as long as the content is unclutered and eyecatching

printing your own can be interesting, then you can add stickers or other stuff to catch the eye

i usually plan a design over several months in my mind and then get printing  over the winter ready to deal em out in the Spring

also you can design a leaflet targeted to an area....and experiment with different content to monitor results

Paul H are you getting yours done on the internet or someone in newcastle .

I am getting 5000 double sided 135gsm delivered over the next week got mine from readymade flyers and paid £195:00 . But looking to get some more done at a better price .

When you say you did your own artwork are designing the layout or just supplying pics and wording , sorry to be so nosey . Mike
