Terrible lead water streaks on glass conny roof

Hi all , got a problem with bad streaks on glass roof . The conny is about 14 years old and doesnt look like its been cleaned much . Top of roof is capped by rectangular piece of lead approx 6ft x 2 ft and waters been staining glass all over , looks like limescale you find on shower screen in bathroom . Any ideas would be much appreciated

What you are describing is lead oxide stains. The chances of removing them are slim, so if I was you, i would read the 2nd post  ;)

No avo , you can reach about half way all round , was hoping there was something i could spray on leave then scrub and wash with wfp

I did a google search.

What that stain is on the glass is lead carbonate and is impervious to almost any cleaning solution. It can be removed with nitric acid though.
