Alvaston Infant and Nursery School, located approximately 3 miles from
Derby City Centre, is a larger than average school. The infant school was
opened in 1950’s and the purpose built nursery opened in 1990’s. The main
building consists of a hall, offices and staffroom and 6 classrooms with
their own toilet facilities. There is a newer smaller builder consisting
of 3 classrooms, a community room and toilet facilities. Our nursery
building in separate building incorporating teaching and learning areas,
kitchen and toilet facilities. We have spacious grounds and playground
areas.
We currently use an external service supplier for the cleaning and
caretaking provision within our school. We are seeking a 3 year contract
initially, with the option to extend for a further 2 years, to commence
from April 1st 2013.
The contract will be awarded on the most economical advantageous tender.
