I bought mine straight off of Gardiner's. I'm sure the only difference between those two models is the diameter of the angle adaptor exciting the drum. I used the fitting kit that Gardiner's used to sell, it's exactly what Alex posted.

here's a pic of my set up, as you can see I use these typical garden hose rollers, bout £3, on fleabay.
also have one on each side rear bumbers of van so can thread hoes to either side without rubbing on van paintwork.
also these type allow Ball protector through no problem.
My hose never leaves van. Have seen so many Windies lifting hose reel in/out of van every job, what a waste of time!
