going on holiday when you have an employee
« on: September 26, 2012, 03:43:49 pm »
hey chaps, getting pretty close to needing to hire someone to come with me and am wondering what you do when you go away?  i dont think i want to insure them to drive the van and in an ideal world they would be forced to go on holiday when i do.  do i have to pay them the standard wage when i go on holiday? and how many of you try to get your man working whilst youre away, and how?

get him out working when you are away to keep things up to date or you will end up a week or 2 behind depending how long the holiday is.

hello mr brookes what i do is let my cousin clean them for me and he takes 70% as the way i look at it if nobody else did it , it would be dead money so i get 30 % and we are both winners , i hope that helps . If you are ever stuck with finding a stand in always get in touch as i am in stockport myself  ;D
