New start up - pressure washing
« on: September 02, 2012, 07:08:11 pm »
Hi all. My brother is out of work at the moment, I am thinkimg of setting up a PW business and let him work it.

I already run a WC and CC business, so not fussed about it taking ages to get a good turnover.

Just wondering, how much money should I allow to start up, machines, chemicals, etc....

Also I see some PWs on ebay (petrol) with buy it nows in the region of £200 will these be any good?

Just looking for any advice at all really, I have no experience in PWing, but plenty experience in running a business.

Thanks

I'd reply but I'd be typing for ages - do a search but in brief
diesel 21 ltr/min interpump or the like
no £200 will buy a piece of shiv - would you buy a £200 carpet m/c
also buy a gutter vac and extending lance to tie the wc to the pw
I recon you need £3k to do it properly

no, I wouldnt of bought a cc m/c for £200. But like I said, I am completely clueless to pw, what machine to buy, petrol/diesel etc.....

Basically, im trying to help my brother out, whilst taking a cut myself.

Do you think (withing time) that a pw business can t/o £3k a month?

Many thanks for taking the timr to reply.
