Would this machine be sufficient to carry out chewing gum removal?

Looking at many options...buying a hotbox for existing Loncin 13hp machine and a rotary, buying new/used hot pressure washer or steam cleaner, or hiring.

Quite a large job, and could lead to more, so buying doesn't worry me.

You would need a generator to run that unless you can use onsite power.
So you'll be paying out on petrol for pressure washer (About £20/£25 per day), fuel for generator petrol/diesel (£20 per day) and fuel for the burner (£20-£30 per day)
And you'll need a direct water feed from a tap as the pump in the Karcher isn't designed to suck from a source. Gravity forced from the bottom of an IBC tank may be ok, I wouldn't know to be honest as I've never attempted this with a Karcher.
Is there water on site?
It will be ok on gum but you can forget on a whirl-a-way with 11LPM.

We have two of these in the link below. A 15 Litre one and a 21 litre one. 21's are taller which means more coil inside.

You connect this to a cold wash and on the underside there's a flow switch, when you squeeze the trigger the burner kicks in, turns off when released. You burn on red diesel or a mixture of red and kerosene and the fuel pump, fan and switch needs to run off a small generator around 1000w total. Some use a suitcase generator but as they are expensive it's cheaper to buy a 5.5hp petrol generator second hand.

I use the same as Lee, but I have used one of these when I had a fault with my burner.
It was ok, it did the job, but if you need to rinse or clean the area after its rubbish.
I did find it got all the chewing gum up though.

I used an on site power source.

To run these with an onsite power source you need to burn the diesel which will cost about £15 a day and that's it, the pressure washer runs on electric. But yes you will need a direct feed.

Is the machine we have currently. Would the flow need turning down for a lavor hot box? Dunno how to do it other than offloader?
